As you may well know, I am the print designer for Turtles and Tees. I'd just like to give everyone a little push to visit the site and our social media outlets.
If you don't know anything about the company, its a new and fresh take on girls golf apparel. Based in America, we debuted the first Spring/Summer collection at the PGA Golf Show in January. I flew over to help them out. We're such a close-knit team and it's been such a great opportunity so far.

Just a quick note to tell you all that I have a new addition to my Spoonflower family! It's a reworked version of my most popular Stag and rose fabric. This version has little acorns instead of the rose.
My Stag and rose design has been used to create babies leggings via babybeansandme. Working with the maker of these leggings, I created a boy friendly version of the fabric. The Stag and rose fabric on leggings - named 'Bucks and Roses leggings', are already for sale and the boys version of these will be on sale soon too!
Monica, the maker of these leggings also has an Instagram, which posted the image of the leggings on and there was some lovely comments including:
"My fave ones yet!"
"Where do you get such rad fabric?!"
You can visit her Instagram by searching @babybeansandme or by clicking on the link!
Here is the new Stag and Acorn fabric which you can buy in fabric, wallpaper and wrapping paper on Spoonflower - just click on the image below!
And remember - they'll be on leggings soon via babybeansandme!
I mentioned a while back in a post that I was working on a freelance project. I haven't really been able to say much about this until now, but I'm excited to share with you one of the designs that will be used on golf apparel in the coming months.
The company I have been working for is Turtle and Tees - a new start-up business based in America that spotted a gap in the market. Once released, they will be selling fun and colourful golf apparel for kids. There are some fabulous people working on this project - especially the client that I'm working for who is so kind to let me stay with her in January as I'm flying over the pond to release this collection at a trade show with them all!
This is super exciting but also terrifying as I'll be flying over all on my own. I'm sure this is the beginning of a fabulous working partnership!
But for now, here is one of the prints that will be used as lining fabric and also on items such as headbands etc.
Please like and share the Facebook page of this new and upcoming company -
I will post the official website when it is up and running soon!
Firstly I must apologise for the lack of posts, I have got a project ongoing for my final year at University. I will post work from this soon! You can keep up with bits and bobs from this project by following me on Instagram (cbp_textiles) and Twitter.
This is just a quick post to let you know that my bee print is now for sale on Spoonflower!
The crossover bags are made of the highest quality leather and are hand dyed in their New Orleans studio by Tiffany Napper - the owner and designer.
Below is the promotional image for the three bags in the Wildflower collection. The ivory bag has the rose lining, and the two other bags (magenta and ivory and magenta) both have the stag and rose lining.
You can snap these bags up here: http://www.batsontees.com/

As I said in my last post, I designed 3 fabrics for Bats on Tees (@batsontees). Here is a picture they posted of all three of them together. They will all be lining their Spring collection of bags, debuting on April 15th. i'll definitely be buying at least one - I can't resist having a bag with my own design in!
Follow Bats on Tees for more updates as the manufacturing process progresses. Of course they are all handmade too!
I will also be posting updates of them being made so feel free to follow me too!

I am also now selling two of the designs pictured and more on Spoonflower - available for you to buy on fabric, wallpaper and wrapping paper!
I have recently been working on an exciting project with a handmade bag company in the US, called Bats on Tees. The owner of the company contacted me after seeing my stag and rose design on Pinterest and asked me to use this design to line their Spring collection. I also designed two further designs for them which will also be out soon!
The bags lined with my designs will be out 15th April 2014 so not long now! And remember, I sell this design on a phone case, so you could have a matching bag and phone - every girls dream!
This is such an exciting opportunity for me, and it's been so much fun, and I am always on the look out for more!

I scanned them in and composed a card. I used Vistaprint to print my cards. However I will not be using them again, their delivery is ridiculous - £8.49 for 10 cards - that was standard!
Below is my card design and the finished outcome. I picked a linen finish on the card so there was some texture to the card as it was just a flat green background. I'm really happy with them, it's nice to see a few doodles come to life!
Being a student of the University of Derby, all of the Textile Design students have entered the Portmeirion Design Competition.
Portmeirion are a long-standing Pottery company with roots in the UK. Their style is probably most recognised as being very flora orientated, often quite traditional in style. However they are now introducing more contemporary collections.

This is the first of my designs, there will be more to come, just to get them printed now and get a brand set up!
Feel free to let me know what you think! (or if you know any good places that print phone cases in the UK that would be super helpful!)
Today I got bored so drew some kids foods, scanned it into Photoshop and made it into some sort of design. Probably should be doing my proper Uni work as my deadline is approaching, but after writing a decent amount of my essay today, I didn't fancy any more.
Also, the stripes were actually more blue but as its been compressed, I think the colouring has changed for some reason... I'm no computer whiz
I am proud to announce that I am now involved with the Medical Detection Dogs charity. I urge you to check out this remarkable charity and I will keep posting about events that I am involved with as I will be making crafts for them to sell in the Birmingham, UK area.
I found out about this charity while watching Crufts 2013 as I am a keen lover of dogs. I have two labradors myself which I have put some photographs of in below. Who couldn't love a Labrador?
The charity has dogs who they are training up to use their exceptional sense of smell to sniff out serious medical illnesses such as Cancer which have distinctive smells to a dog with superior smell senses. This could potentially nip some peoples illnesses in the bud, before they even know about it.
They also train dogs to help and aid people with medical conditions and give them the life they deserve day to day, along with providing them with company and love like any dog would.
Keep checking back if you would like to support this charity like me. Also check out the website above, some inspirational stuff!
